Bo Kong Vegetarian Restaurant was founded in 1992 with the mission of introducing a healthy and holistic vegetarian lifestyle into the community.
The first Bo Kong Restaurant was located in Richmond City, BC.
In 1992, Bo Kong Restaurant created a wave of popularity for vegetarian cuisine. Thanks to great support from returning customers, business was booming. Bo Kong quickly became a market leader in Chinese Vegetarian Cuisine.
In 1995, Bo Kong Restaurant opened up their second location in Vancouver, BC. With plans to expand into the mainstream market, Bo Kong worked to provide its customers with the best customer service and delectable vegetarian cuisine. Bo Kong increased its reach by 50% into the Vancouver market and continued to serve its customers with care.
In 1998, the third Bo Kong Restaurant location opened up in Hong Kong, China. Based in Vancouver, Bo Kong Restaurant served its customers in one of the busiest malls in Hong Kong – Times Square Causeway Bay.
After 18 years of business, all three Bo Kong Restaurants closed down due to unforeseen circumstances. Luckily, in 2011, Po Kong Vegetarian Restaurants was established as a sister company to Bo Kong.
Today, Po Kong Vegetarian Restaurant continues to be Vancouver’s Best Chinese Vegetarian restaurant.
